Preserving our earth
Created in the late 1980s, the Instituto Nacional de Biodiverdiad (INBio) is a national institute for biodiversity and conservation in Costa Rica. It is a privately-run institution that works closely with various government agencies, universities, and business sectors. Adults and children are able to learn about ecosystem and how it is our responsibility to care and to protect it. Today, INBio is visited be tourists from all over the world eager to learn about the rainforests in Costa Rica.
A one of a kind facility
INBio Park is part museum, educational center and nature park. Two large pavilions outline Costa Rica's natural wonders and biodiversity, and hiking trails re-create the ecosystems of tropical rain forest, dry forest, and premontane forest. Taking the tour
