How it all began

Through their research scientists are discovering the evolution of the rainforest and its natural history.
On the tram
The tram takes 90 minutes to complete it. It starts off with an instructional video and than you board the tram that will take you a distance of 2.6 kilometer with a naturalist guide that will inform you about the basics of rainforest ecology. You will get a spectacular view of the rainforest roof. Some of the things you might see along your ride include the white faces of the Capuchin monkeys, bears, anteaters, vipers and dozens of tropical bird species. A day to remember
Although the fee you pay allows you to have as many tram rides as you wish, you can expect to wait up to one hour at a time as the lines are long. However, the line is well worth the wait! Riding one of the seven cables on one of the six platforms is not the only thing that you can do at the Rainforest Aerial Tram Caribbean, ¤µhere is an open air serpentarium with over 20 species of snakes, and a butterfly and frog garden that you definitely must check out when you visit with your rent a car Costa Rica. The Rainforest Aerial Tram is open from 6:30 am to 4 pm from Tuesday to Sunday and 9 am to 4 pm on Mondays. Admission is $55 for adults and $27.50 for students and children. The wait for the tram ride is about 1 hour, but coffee, fruit drinks and cookies are served during the wait. There is also a restaurant nearby that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner for only $7.
The Tram is located on Highway 32, four kilometers past the Braulio Carrillo National Park ranger station and 15 km west of Guapiles.
